Finley Food & Beverage Consulting is owned by Zac & Laura Finley. Each are Registered ServSafe Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) Instructor/Proctors. Laura is the primary instructor and Zac is the secondary proctor. When you sign up for their class you are likely to run into the both of them, as well as their toddler and Golden Retriever. They love it when you say hi as working with the members of the food industry is the highlight of what they they do.
Finley F&B was created by Laura Finley after she left her career as a Registered Sanitarian for Gallatin City-County Health Departmen in Bozeman, Montana. Zac joined the business shortly after it’s creation, which allowed them to expand classes throughout the northwestern United States.
While offering ServSafe CFPM Courses is the majority of what they do, Laura also offers consulting services for new and established food businesses looking for added support.
Creating unique and meticulous Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) plans has become a large part of the business as well. While teaching will always be one of Laura’s most favorite opportunities, creating HACCP plans has become a top contender.

Laura Finley is a former health inspector with over 20 years of experience in the food industry. She is extremely helpful and in tune with what you need to grow and improve your business. Whether she is helping you get your food business started or she is assisting you in improving your already existing business - Laura is steadfast in her knowledge of the food industry. From starting a Cottage Food Operation out of your home, to owning multiple brick and mortar businesses, Laura can handle all of your questions with ease. Having had the experience of reviewing applications as a registered sanitarian, she has the insight you need to get through the application process smoothly.
